I haven't always been an electrician. In fact, in a previous life, I was a degree-level qualified digital marketer, running one of the UK's most successful and award-winning direct to consumer retail websites.

But a few years ago, it was time for a change. With developments in AI, having a more tangible, real-world set of skills seemed like the best option.

There's lots skill-wise that crosses over. For example, the ability to be organised and to think systematically. To understand clients and focus on what they want to acheive. It's just that the circuits I work with these days are made of copper rather than silicon.
